2026 Sportsman Open 262 Center Console

About this boat

This 2026 Sportsman Open 262 Center Console is listed at 26 ft in overall length and 9.42 ft in beam. This is the kind of boat that lets you leave the dock with a plan—and change it mid-day without giving anything up. The Sportsman Open 262 is built for owners who are done compromising between offshore capability, family comfort, and easy day-to-day use around Tampa Bay. If your current boat feels tight at rest, busy at the helm, or limiting when conditions change, the Open 262 replaces that friction with space, balance, and systems that work together. Twin Yamaha power delivers predictable control for long runs offshore or relaxed cruising between St. Pete, Clearwater, and Sarasota. A wide beam and 22° deadrise provide confidence when afternoon chop builds, while digital switching, integrated Garmin electronics, and Seakeeper Ride actively reduce workload at the helm. Comfort isn’t an afterthought. A true console head, multiple seating zones, and serious cold storage mean the boat supports full days on the water without constant setup or breakdown. Dual side entry doors, windlass anchoring, and thoughtful deck flow make docking, swimming, and fishing easier for everyone onboard. Backed by Thunder Marine, this boat isn’t just delivered—it’s supported. From walkthrough to long-term service, the goal is simple ownership with fewer questions and more time underway.
